CLECS Storytelling evening
Noson dweud stori CLECS
Tickets £2.50 Tocynnau £2.50
Everyone in the Rhondda has a story to tell, otherwise known as ‘CLECS’. Clecs are our myths , they’re stories that we tell everyday at the bus stop, up the road, on the school yard. Join us for a night of stories suitable for a Welsh speaking and English speaking audience. Be prepared to laugh and cry! The cafe will be open for a coffee or a beer!
Mae CLECS yn gasgliad gwych o storiâu o’r Rhondda a berfformiwyd yng Ngŵyl Gelfyddydol Rhondda a’r Eisteddfod 2024, a nawr gallwch ei weld yn Porth! Beth yw CLECS? Mae gan bawb yn y Rhondda stori i’w adrodd, neu ‘CLECS’. Clecs yw ein ‘myths’, maent yn storiâu fyddwn yn eu hadrodd bob dydd yn yr arhosfa fws, lan y ffordd, ar iard yr ysgol. Ymunwch gyda ni am noson o straeon yn Saesneg gyda pheth Cymraeg achlysurol. Byddwch yn barod i chwerthin a chrio! Bydd y lolfa goffi ar agor os am goffi neu gwrw!
The stories have been collected by and then performed by Kamalagita (Joanna) Hughes who is a storyteller and writer. She has made critically acclaimed documentary films about the Rhondda for the BBC. She is Rhondda born and bred and has performed stories in numerous locations, including at the Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival.
